Hi, my name is James Ledley.

I first picked up a guitar when I was 15 years old.

I was a kid who just loved music - I actually started on the drums then moved to Bass Guitar and then eventually Guitar.  I had an old "Satelite" 70s electric guitar that wasnt great but its all I had and I borrowed my mums old classical guitar she was given as a present.

Wow those days were tough, trying to play Barre Chords on a classical with the strings too high - it was so difficult.

I loved "The Smiths" and just wanted to play their music but it was so way above my abilities.  I also loved Jimi Hendrix and that was the reason I got into playing Lead Guitar and Soloing.

These days, I really enjoy teaching Guitar and Ukulele Full time and have been teaching since 2006. I love passing on what I have learned and watching others enjoy Guitar and grow to love playing their favourite music the way I do.

Thats why I started my Youtube Channel - originally it had a lot of covers and then I started to devote my time to helping others with guitar.
